Funeral service to take place at 1.30p.m., Wednesday, January 13, in All Saints Church, Hutton Rudby, prior to burial. Friends please meet at church. No flowers by request, charitable donations may be given at the service.

My rather belated condolences to Sarah, Lindsay, Richard and Jane. One of the most remarkable Men I have ever met. Made a lasting impression on me with his humanity and great kindness and empathy. So sorry to hear this.....I live in Australia now. My dad, Gerry Tuddenham, was Manager of the Corporation Hotel in Middlesbrough from 1954 until 1970. He and Bill were great friends and we often played golf together at Brass Castle. May happy memories... RIP Bill. John Tuddenham Melbourne Australia
